Calacatta Fedora Quartz Waterfall Island in Fairfax, VA | Yutong L. Project
Kitchen countertops in Fairfax, VA, completed March 2025 - by Kitchen Design Center.
About this project
These Fairfax homeowners had recently purchased their home and wanted to update the countertops, along with a few small details, to make the kitchen feel cozier and more cohesive. Kitchen Design Center supplied Calacatta Fedora quartz for the perimeter and a waterfall island whose bold veining carries down both ends, and added floating shelves in the dining area to bring the space together.
Design style: Chic, semi-traditional
The challenge
The main challenge was matching the new selections with the existing cabinets and backsplash for a cohesive, balanced look.
Our solution
We selected colors, finishes and materials that work well together and suit our client's style, creating a chic kitchen look.
