Maria W, Fairfax, VA
Kitchen remodel in Fairfax, VA, completed March 2025 - by Kitchen Design Center.
About this project
These homeowners wanted a traditional-transitional kitchen with a more open, spacious feel. Kitchen Design Center removed a wall to create a larger space and supplied StarMark cabinetry in natural cherry with storage inserts for better functionality. Dulles White granite tops the counters and the large island and continues all the way up the wall as a full-height backsplash, framing a stainless pro-style range beneath a stainless chimney hood, with a pot filler and double wall oven nearby.
Design style: Traditional
The challenge
The main challenge was creating an open, spacious layout while choosing the right storage cabinets and inserts to maximize functionality.
Our solution
Our designer carefully selected the cabinet finishes and storage inserts to maximize space and create a functional, open kitchen.
