The Story

About this project

This Washington, DC homeowner came to Kitchen Design Center with a very specific shade of green in mind and a wish for a countertop with bold, dramatic veining. We brought that vision to life with StarMark cabinetry in Bottle Green, using inset doors with a raised center panel for a tailored, traditional profile. Cambria Bentley quartz runs across the counters and up the walls as a full-height backsplash, and the range hood is clad in the same stone so the black-and-white veining becomes the focal point of the room. Brushed gold hardware and fixtures complete a kitchen that balances personality, elegance and function.

Design style: Stylish and modern
