Two-Tone Cherry & White Kitchen with Full-Height Quartz in Herndon, VA | Laura A. Project
Kitchen remodel in Herndon, VA, completed December 2025 - by Kitchen Design Center.
About this project
These Herndon homeowners wanted a more modern, chic kitchen. Kitchen Design Center paired natural cherry StarMark base cabinets with white maple uppers, then ran 3cm Mars Jumbo quartz from the countertops all the way up the wall as a full-height backsplash, finished with a mitered edge. The built-in pantry door was matched to the white upper cabinets for a clean, seamless look, and the existing hardwood floor was replaced with a wood-look porcelain tile that keeps the space fresh and cohesive.
Design style: Transitional
The challenge
The main challenge was creating the right color combination and making sure all the colors and materials worked together in harmony.
Our solution
