About this project
These Fairfax homeowners wanted a more modern, stylish kitchen. Kitchen Design Center removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room to open up the space, making it feel larger, brighter and more welcoming. Dove White shaker cabinetry from 21st Century lines the perimeter, and a large Barley-finish island with seating and a built-in wine refrigerator anchors the room under Venezia Venzo quartz. A white dolomite hexagon backsplash, a stainless chimney hood and gold fixtures add detail, and the original hardwood was replaced with wood-look porcelain tile for a fresh, cohesive floor throughout.
