White Shaker Kitchen with Waterfall Quartz Island in Fairfax, VA | Amina E. Project
Kitchen remodel in Fairfax, VA, completed August 2025 - by Kitchen Design Center.
About this project
This Fairfax homeowner visited our showroom, refined their selections and came back ready to build a modern, timeless kitchen. Kitchen Design Center designed the room around J&K S8 White shaker cabinetry and MSI Calacatta Laza quartz, which wraps the large island with waterfall ends and continues up the walls as a full-height backsplash. A built-in double wall oven, stainless chimney hood, pot filler and a deep stainless sink add everyday function, and warm hardwood floors balance the bright, clean palette.
Design style: Slightly luxurious, timeless
The challenge
A few cabinet doors arrived with a slight finish issue.
Our solution
We contacted the manufacturer and had the affected doors replaced very quickly, keeping the project on schedule.
