Painted Linen & Wood Kitchen and Laundry Room in Oakton, VA | Nick S. Project
Kitchen & laundry cabinet supply in Oakton, VA, completed September 2025 - by Kitchen Design Center.
About this project
These Oakton homeowners wanted to update their kitchen and laundry room with a modern look that would complement the rest of their home. Kitchen Design Center supplied Waypoint cabinetry in Painted Linen and ProCraft cabinetry in Slim Karamel, pairing crisp light slim-shaker doors with warm wood tones on the island and appliance wall. A waterfall island, a functional pantry area and matching laundry cabinetry make the design as practical as it is clean and cohesive.
Design style: Modern
The challenge
Natural wood varies piece to piece in grain and detail, and the clients wanted a smoother, more consistent grain for the interior areas.
Our solution
We worked closely with the cabinet company and requested wood with a more consistent grain. Although it couldn't be guaranteed, they did their best to meet the request and the cabinets turned out beautifully.
