The Story

About this project

These Dulles homeowners had a large kitchen and wanted a unique, modern look for both the kitchen and the bar area. Kitchen Design Center combined Fabuwood Frost white shaker cabinetry, stacked to the ceiling with glass-front toppers, with a Pitch Black island and bar. MSI Marquina Midnight quartz and a full-height backsplash add drama, while black wood wall panels with floating shelves, glass display cabinets and built-in wine storage give the bar its own character. Different textures and finishes keep the large space interesting while every element stays cohesive and functional.

Design style: Modern

The challenge

With so much space to work with, the challenge was choosing the right products, finishes and placement so every element worked together.

Our solution

Our designer selected and coordinated cabinet finishes, products and textures across the kitchen and bar to balance the spacious layout and achieve the modern, unique look the clients envisioned.
