Remodeling Built for Haymarket’s Homes
Haymarket sits at the western edge of the region, where master-planned communities meet the foothills of Bull Run Mountain. Neighborhoods like Dominion Valley, Piedmont, Regency, and the Villages of Piedmont are filled with single-family homes - many of them larger, design-forward houses built from the late 1990s onward - alongside golf-course properties and a scattering of estates. As tastes and daily routines have shifted, kitchens and baths that felt current a decade or two ago are ready for an update. Those are exactly the spaces Kitchen Design Center reworks.
Because many Haymarket homes came from a handful of builders during the same era, our designers tend to recognize a floor plan’s bones before the first measurement. We treat every project as its own home, but that shared building history gives us a useful head start on layout, storage, and where the real opportunities are.
Kitchen Remodeling in Haymarket
Haymarket’s larger homes invite kitchens that work at scale: a generous island for cooking and gathering, a true pantry, layered lighting, and a layout built around the appliances you actually want. We design full kitchen remodels around how you live, whether the goal is a more open connection to the family room or a refined space that matches the rest of a design-forward home.
We plan the cabinet layout, lighting, and traffic flow with you at the showroom, so the design is settled before demolition begins. You see the finishes, open the drawers, and compare countertop samples in person rather than guessing from a brochure.
Bathroom Remodeling in Haymarket
Primary baths in Haymarket’s homes were often roomy for their era but dated in their fixtures and finishes, while secondary and hall baths simply need a fresh, efficient update. We handle both - from a new vanity, tile, and lighting to a curbless or low-threshold shower, a double vanity, and a layout that uses the existing footprint more intelligently. For owners planning ahead, comfort-focused features fold in naturally without making the room feel clinical.
Countertops & Cabinets
Countertops are often where a Haymarket kitchen makes its biggest leap. We fabricate and install quartz, granite, and marble, working with lines homeowners know and trust, including Cambria, Silestone, MSI Surfaces, and Caesarstone. You can compare full samples side by side at the showroom under real lighting, which makes choosing an edge profile and finish far easier than scrolling online.
On the cabinet side, we offer both custom and semi-custom cabinetry as well as cabinet refacing. New cabinets from lines such as StarMark, Fabuwood, Waypoint, and J&K let you rethink the entire layout, while refacing is the right call when the existing boxes are sound and you mainly want new doors and finishes. Our designers will tell you honestly which path fits your home and your plans.
Visiting Our Fairfax Showroom From Haymarket
Kitchen Design Center is located at 11217 Lee Highway, Unit E, in Fairfax, roughly 24 miles east of Haymarket. Most homeowners take Interstate 66 toward Fairfax and exit onto Route 29 (Lee Highway). From Dominion Valley, Piedmont, or the Villages of Piedmont, it’s a manageable drive to see everything in person.
A showroom visit is the most useful first step. You can walk full kitchen and bath displays, open real cabinet doors from the lines we carry, hold quartz and granite samples next to cabinet finishes, and talk through your project with a designer. To plan your visit or set up a free design consultation, call Kitchen Design Center at (703) 244-1220. We’re open Monday through Friday, 9 to 6, and Saturday, 10 to 4.
